New Years Surf Zandvoort
January 8 Soul Surfers Foundationjoined the New Years Surf event in Zandvoort - The Netherlands.
The Event-crew was already present at "De Haven van Zandvoort" at 6am that morning in order to prepare the whole setting. Tents were rigged up, Hot tubs filled and flag poles placed.
 
It all looked great and turned out to be a well organised event.
The weather was amazing for the time of year and in ski-ing outfit, it was quite comfortable to spend the whole day outdoors.

Unfortunately the temperature was not all that great to sell the D-Surf it! T-Shirts, but the girls of the organisation managed to sell quite some lottery tickets to family and friends drinking their hot chocolate in the beach-bar.

Quite some people were made aware of the Foundation and also the Mayor of Zandvoort passed by and left a donation.

All in all; a great day! And herewith another big Thank you!!! to all the volunteers!

Unfortunately no year's salary...
But, loads of input, ideas, contacts and positive energy!!!

Now in search of time to put everything into action.
